Show and Tell:
  • What experiences, struggles, celebrations have you encountered in the last month? Show and/or tell the participants about it!

Hook:
  • There are more than 15 billion webpages and it is growing exponentially! How do you avoid becoming overwhelmed with all of the information?
  • You probably bookmark items on your school computer...what happens when you get home though?
  • What if you could see other's bookmarks or share your bookmarks with your students?
  • What exactly is social bookmarking?

Discussion:
  • How could social bookmarking make a difference in your teaching practice?
  • How could you use social bookmarking with your students?

Active Participation:
  • Sign in to one of the three choices: Delicious, Diigo, Symbaloo
  • Begin to bookmark and label important sites
  • Add PLC members to begin the socialization piece
